Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – Andre Onana – 6/10 – the 28-year-old didn’t have much of a chance with Elanga’s goal, but he did try to be quicker with his distribution than usual.
CB – Leny Yoro – 8/10 – the Frenchman put in one of his best performances for United so far, making a notable challenge late on to prevent Elanga from scoring a second.
CB – Matthijs de Ligt – 7/10 – the centre-back managed to keep Taiwo Awoniyi quiet and he wasn’t really at fault for the goal.
CB – Noussair Mazraoui – 5/10 – he did not close down Elanga early enough and he was punished as the Swedish international fired the ball past Onana.
