GK – Altay Bayindir – 4/10 – gifted Newcastle their fourth goal with a poor pass out from the back. Made one decent save from Alexander Isak but he didn’t inspire confidence.
CB – Noussair Mazraoui – 4/10 – the 27-year-old dallied on the ball and then slipped allowing the Magpies to score their third.
CB – Victor Lindelof – 4/10 – the Swedish international was found wanting with his lack of pace. He was also missing in action as Harvey Barnes went past him to score Newcastle’s second.
CB – Leny Yoro – 3/10 – the teenager was at fault for both the first and second goals. He failed to track Tonali’s run who got in behind him after Isak’s pass. He then was in no-man’s land for the second.
