Images purporting to show Man Utd’s home kit for next season have leaked online
Footyheadlines is a trusted source for such information, and it has shared concept designs based on what they know of Adidas’s 2026/27 shirt.
It is fair to say that the majority of United supporters on X are not best pleased with what they have seen:
Just pathetic and boring designs!

Not a fan of this at all. Adidas is lazy.

I miss Nike why are Adidas so lazy?

We need Nike back, Man Utd colors fit better for Brands like Nike, Puma, Umbro, no obligatory 3 stripes, that make up for top much detaling, add 3 colors, red white black, and this is a mishmash. 16/17, 19/20, 21/22, 23/24 24/25, only those home kits Were decent, rest arerubbish

What are Adidas going for with the new kit?
It is believed that the German manufacturer are attempting to hark back to the 1970s with their latest effort.
The collar, in particular, is close to the designs used by Umbro and Admiral between 1976 and 1980.
Ironically, when Adidas took over at the start of the 1980/81 season, they actually went with a pure white collar, rather than the red trim.
When will the Man Utd 2026/27 home shirt be released?
Manufacturing of new kits requires plenty of lead time due to the sheer volume that need to be made, so we do usually see leaked images (or at very least concept designs) at the beginning of the New Year.
We are still some way off the kit being released. The 2025/26 version of the home jersey came out on June 12th last year, so you would expect a similar date for the next shirt.
