Man Utd striker Benjamin Sesko was pictured back training with the first-team squad on Tuesday.

The Slovenian international has not played a single minute in pre-season due to a shin injury he sustained at the back end of the 2025/26 campaign.

Sesko is unlikely to feature in the season opener against Hull this weekend because of a lack of match sharpness.

However, there is now optimism that the forward will be back on the pitch before the end of the month.

Karl Darlow

Like Sesko, the keeper has not featured at all in pre-season, having undergone minor surgery on an unspecified injury prior to his arrival at Old Trafford.

Darlow has not been seen in training, which suggests he may also miss the fixture against Hull, but manager Michael Carrick is likely to provide an update on his injury status soon.
