Man United have added Torino goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic to their “shortlist” of targets ahead of the summer transfer window, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Reports in the Italian media over the last month initially revealed that Chelsea and Manchester City were interested in the Serbian international but Romano now says that United are the ones who have made “initial contacts”, with enquiries being made about his asking price.
Milinkovic-Savic is a massive presence, standing at 6ft 8, and some fans on X have been remarking on his height, in addition to commenting on his ability:
Bring him ASAP

Milinkovic-Savic has a release clause in his contract
It is believed that the 28-year-old has a €20m (£17m) buyout fee, which would make him a very attractive target, considering the Red Devils’ limited transfer budget.
From the outside looking in, it does appear as if Ruben Amorim’s side are keen on snapping up players who have these clauses in their contracts.
Talks have been held with Matheus Cunha’s agents. The Wolves striker can be signed for £62.5m due to a clause. Liam Delap, meanwhile, is available for £30m.
Are Man United looking to replace Onana?
The pursuit of Milinkovic-Savic does indicate that Andre Onana‘s days at Old Trafford could be numbered.
There were suggestions at the end of last month that Onana is attracting interest from Saudi side Neom SC. How much truth there is to those rumours, though, it isn’t known.
