Man United are weighing up a potential move for Bournemouth midfielder Tyler Adams, according to reports.
The Daily Mail claim that the American international could be available for £35m, and the Red Devils’ data analysts believe he could be a cost-effective solution to strengthen the club’s midfield.
It is fair to say that supporters on X are not particularly impressed with the links to Adams:

Adams’ fitness record is very poor
Even without making a judgement on the 27-year-old’s ability, you do have to question why United are interested based on his injury history.
Adams has missed AT LEAST 13 matches in each of his last four seasons, having been sidelined with hamstring, back and knee problems during that period.
One of the big reasons why he is playing for Bournemouth, rather than a bigger club, is due to the fact that no one else is willing to take a chance on him.

He is just one of the midfield targets Man United are considering
It should be pointed out that even the Daily Mail say that Adams isn’t the only player who is being looked at for the third midfield signing.
However, United are said to be seeking a physical profile who can cover a lot of ground, in the same way as Ederson.
That should rule out Fulham’s Sander Berge, even though he is one of the most prominent names who has been reported in recent days. Roma’s Manu Kone and Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga seem a much better fit, so we shall see if concrete moves are made for either player.
