Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford will join Barcelona on a season-long loan with an option to buy, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
There is believed to be a verbal agreement between all parties, with Romano confident that the deal will go ahead as he uttered his catchphrase “here we go”.
Due to the fact that there is no obligatory purchase clause for Rashford, supporters on X think that the Red Devils have been taken to the cleaners:
We're so desperate to discard them..we don't waste time on outgoing negotiations anymore.π

Rashford made Barca his top priority
After Aston Villa opted against signing the England international on a permanent basis for Β£40m, the player has been in limbo.
Rashford had been training away from the first-team squad as he waited to see who was interested in signing him.
Barcelona have been circling the 27-year-old for quite some time, and the winger was said to be desperate to make the switch to the Camp Nou. However, the La Liga champions only decided to make an approach once it became clear that a deal for Liverpool’s Luis Diaz was too expensive.
Man United could end up in the same situation next summer
Options to buy are only ever triggered if a player makes a huge impression during their loan spell. Considering Rashford may only be used off the bench by Barca, it seems unlikely that the Catalan club will keep him beyond next season.
There is a very strong possibility that the forward will be back at Old Trafford within the next 12 months.
In other news, Romano claims that Man United are now focused on signing their “next top target” after Bryan Mbeumo
