Man Utd win the battle for a Newcastle left-back

GK – Senne Lammens
Defenders – Diogo Dalot, Matthijs de Ligt, Lisandro Martinez, Lewis Hall

There is no doubt about who the Red Devils want to strengthen the left-hand side of the defence.

Newcastle’s Lewis Hall is seen as the primary target, but there are doubts over whether the Magpies would sanction his departure.

They have already sold Anthony Gordon to Barcelona, and Sandro Tonali is now attracting interest from Tottenham, so their stance against offloading Hall may harden.

Even so, some reports have suggested that Hall could be sold if a big enough offer were tabled. Still, Man United may need to pay upwards of £60m to £70m to get their man.
