It’s safe to say that Man United boss Ruben Amorim needs some sort of result against Chelsea this weekend.
The defeat in the Manchester derby has put the 40-year-old under all sorts of pressure, and another loss on Saturday evening would lead to further calls for him to be sacked.
Read below as we share our Man United predicted lineup to face the Blues at Old Trafford.
Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – Senne Lammens – Altay Bayindir didn’t do anything against Man City to justify keeping his place. Handing Lammens a debut this weekend is the only logical course of action.
CB – Leny Yoro – the 19-year-old didn’t have his best game last Sunday, but he is the best equipped to keep up with Chelsea’s pacey front three.
CB – Matthijs de Ligt – the Dutchman should be confident of keeping Joao Pedro quiet after Bayern’s Jonathan Tah bullied the Brazilian midweek.
CB – Ayden Heaven – Luke Shaw was at sixes and sevens versus City, and this seems like a good time to reintroduce more youth into the back three.
