Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – Andre Onana – 5/10 – couldn’t keep Johnson’s effort out at the near post and lacked confidence in commanding his box.
CB – Leny Yoro – 5/10 – got caught on the ball in his own penalty box after a miscommunication with Onana. He was clearly short of match sharpness, having just returned from injury.
CB – Harry Maguire – 6/10 – did everything asked of him, including an excellent raking long ball to Patrick Dorgu in the first half. Also had a running battle with Cristian Romero which led to him getting a yellow card.
CB – Luke Shaw – 4/10 – the 29-year-old was very much at fault for Tottenham’s winner. He wasn’t strong enough in his duel with Johnson and then inadvertently directed the ball towards his own goal. He nearly redeemed himself with a header late on, which was saved by Vicario.
