Man United Player Ratings Vs Burnley: One Player Gets 8/10 And Two Others Get 7

Man United head coach Ruben Amorim praised the effort of his players as his team battled to a 3-2 win over Burnley.

The Red Devils dominated proceedings, but they were pegged back twice before a late Bruno Fernandes penalty sealed the three points.

Read below as we give our Man United player ratings for the victory at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

Goalkeeper and Defence

GK – Altay Bayindir – 5/10 – did not cover himself in glory for Burnley’s second goal but his accurate kicking had helped United go 2-1 up in the first place.

CB – Leny Yoro – 6/10 – had a decent game, especially with his passing. Could have been more aware of his surroundings for Burnley’s first equaliser.

CB – Matthijs de Ligt – 4/10 – not a great day for the Dutchman. Caught out of position and then left Lyle Foster unmarked for Burnley’s first goal, and he didn’t clear the ball for the second.

CB – Luke Shaw – 5/10 – looked decent in possession when asked to play more like a left-back, but (like de Ligt), he lost Foster, and he then failed to clear his lines for Kyle Walker’s throw before the second Burnley goal.
