The Red Devils would probably have preferred to sell the large majority of these loanees, as they are not part of Ruben Amorim‘s first-team plans.

They also take up a significant chunk of the wage bill, with four of them taking home a combined £48.4m a year. Two or more may not even return to Old Trafford next summer.
