Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo has returned to training ahead of the game against Lyon.
The 19-year-old has been sidelined with a muscular injury since February and has missed the Red Devils’ last 10 matches.
After seeing pictures of Mainoo back on the grass at Carrington, a number of fans on X noticed that the youngster had put on some muscle as well as having changed his haircut:

Mainoo’s future beyond this season is still in question
There has been a lot written about the teenager in recent weeks despite the fact that he has been on the treatment table.
Due to the club’s financial position, it has been suggested that Mainoo could be offloaded to help fund the club’s transfer business.
With an asking price of around £70m, though, you do wonder who would be willing to pay that much. Chelsea have been mentioned as potential suitors.
Man Utd still have 5 players on the sidelines
Mainoo’s return to fitness means that United’s injury list is beginning to shorten. Matthijs de Ligt has not been seen in training so he is unlikely to face Lyon.
Jonny Evans (back), Amad Diallo, Ayden Heaven (both ankle) and Lisandro Marinez (ACL) have also been ruled out.
