Manchester United winger Amad Diallo responded to Harry Maguire’s standout performance against Athletic Bilbao on Thursday night by sharing a doctored image of the pair.
The Ivorian used the famous meme of Lionel Messi giving Lamine Yamal a bath and used his own face and Maguire’s in the picture instead.
Of course, that led to a ton of responses from fans on X, with some even questioning whether Amad’s account is fake:
Is this his real account?!?

Maguire was excellent against Athletic
The defender has been subjected to a lot of criticism over the years, but he was crucial in setting up the opening goal yesterday evening.
Maguire found himself on the wing and he turned his opposing number inside out before delivering a cross. Manuel Ugarte then flicked the ball on for Casemiro to score.
Amad made his United comeback after 3 months out
After suffering an ankle injury in early February, the 22-year-old wasn’t expected to play again before the end of the season. However, he returned to full training at the start of this week and he was named on the bench versus Athletic.
Amad came on for the final 10 minutes and he will be in contention to start against Brentford this weekend.
