EXCLUSIVE: Man United Told “Danger Player” Could Outperform Bruno Fernandes Next Season – It’s Not Mbeumo Or Cunha

Wes Brown has told Man United who could be the best player under Ruben Amorim next year rather than Bruno Fernandes.

United are preparing for the new season to begin next month, and they have already added a couple of top-class players in the form of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, but Ruben Amorim still wants more reinforcements.

Based on his current squad, the likes of Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho and Antony are all expected to leave, with Marcus Rashford having already left the club for Barcelona.

With that in mind, Amorim may need new players to step forward and become game changers, much like what Bruno Fernandes can do. The Man United captain was excellent again last year; he scored eight goals, and provided 10 assists in the Premier League last year. But who else could step up to Fernandes’ level.

Wes Brown backs Amad to step up for Man United

In an exclusive interview with former Man United defender Wes Brown via WhichBookie, ManUNews.com asked Brown which player could step up much like Fernandes next year, and he suggested winger Amad Diallo.

Brown said: “If Amad can stay fit, obviously he was so good for us last season, but then got that injury. He’s focused, and I think he’s that danger player who we’ve missed. At one point last season, there was himself and Bruno keeping us in games. I hope Amad has not even the same, but a better season, because he’s been brilliant.”

We also asked Brown where he would play Diallo, seeing as United have now signed two players that can play in the number 10 roles (Cunha and Mbeumo). That was Amad’s position for a lot of last year, but it has been said that he could move to wing-back.

Brown answered: “I would like him to keep the attacking role, but the problem that Amad has had is that when he’s played at wingback, he’s done well.

“In terms of playing in defence, he’s fit, he’s athletic, he’s young, he can do it. He does the running back, and that’s obviously what the manager wants; Amad might not like it as much. That’s the sort of players we need, players who can do both jobs.”

Amad made 26 Premier League appearances for Man United last season, he scored eight goals, and provided six assists, in somewhat of a breakout year.
