The 9 Academy Players Named In Man United’s Squad For The Post-Season Tour Of The Far East

Manchester United have made the unusual decision to head out on a post season tour of the Far East, which is sandwiched between the end of the domestic campaign and the next round of international fixtures.

They will take on ASEAN All-Stars in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday before facing the Hong Kong national side at the end of the week.

Head coach Ruben Amorim has backed the club’s decision to schedule the tour stating that it was a “small sacrifice” in order to “make contact with our fans around the world.” It is believed the trip will raise around $10m (£7.8m) in revenue.

A 32-man squad has flown out to Malaysia, with nine academy players who have yet to make their senior debuts.
