Man United forward Matheus Cunha remains a doubt heading into Saturday’s clash against Chelsea.
The Brazilian sustained a hamstring injury during the 3-2 win over Burnley before the international break and he has yet to return to training.
Speaking before the Manchester derby, head coach Ruben Amorim said that Cunha felt he was already ready to play, but the medical staff are being cautious about his recovery.
The last thing that the club needs is the forward suffering a recurrence because he has come back too early.

Mason Mount
The 26-year-old sustained an injury during the first half of the victory against Burnley at the end of August.
Mount was substituted at half-time, and no further details were provided on his fitness status. Before the defeat to City, Amorim would only confirm that Mount (and Cunha) would miss the derby:
“I think they are out for this game. I don’t know how long it is going to take.”
