Man United Injury News And Return Dates: Updates On Ayden Heaven And 2 Other Players

Man United defender Ayden Heaven has picked up a knock whilst playing for England’s Under 20s against Switzerland at the weekend.

The 19-year-old needed treatment inside the first minute of the game, which ended in a 1-0 defeat for the young Lions.

Speaking after the match, England Under-20 head coach Ben Futcher said the injury is not expected to keep him on the treatment table for too long:

“He picked something up. I don’t think it is too serious but we will have to see how it settles down.”

Expected Return Date – Unknown

Noussair Mazraoui

The fullback has missed United’s last two fixtures against Brentford and Sunderland due to a thigh problem.

Mazroaui last played in the 2-1 win over Chelsea last month. He was substituted on 65 minutes in that fixture, and speaking about the Moroccan’s fitness following the game, head coach Ruben Amorim said:

“He will not be back until the [October] international break.”

We may have to wait until Amorim’s pre-match press conference ahead of the Liverpool fixture this weekend to discover if he has passed a fitness test or whether he will need longer to recover.

Expected Return Date – Sunday 19th October vs Liverpool (a)
