Man United fans have taken to social media to react to the recent poor form of striker Rasmus Hojlund.
The 21-year-old had yet another poor game during Man United’s 1-0 win against Fulham on Sunday night. They now sit 12th in the Premier League table.
Manager Ruben Amorim has been rotating at the striker position between both Hojlund and summer signing Joshua Zirkzee, who between them have scored just five league goals for United.
During the game against Fulham, Hojlund started in Amorim’s XI, but failed to get involved in the game, unable to record a single shot in what was a tight 1-0 for the Red Devils.
Man United fans took to X to state their views on Hojlund’s current form, and his poor performance against the Cottagers at the weekend.
Wait a minute, Rasmus Hojlund hasn’t scored in 36 of his 48 Premier League games for Man Utd?
I’m all for giving young players a chance to develop, but I’m sorry, Hojlund does NOT have what it takes to lead the line for Manchester United. pic.twitter.com/lbeE32Va6C

You look at how we are playing as team in this match and you explain to me how rasmus or any striker is supposed to score…
The team doesn’t do enough to create opportunities in matches tbis has been going on for years

Sometimes, I know Hoilund has not proven to be good enough to lead the line on a consistent basis at a club like Utd but I also know he gets no service which needs to be addressed with more quality in those 2 10 roles
Overall, he should at least be good enough to hold the ball…

Zirzkee was booed after 5 matches for United; what’s the excuse for Højlund, who has been at the club for so much longer?

His first touch and hold up play are awful. He also throws to many tantrums on the field when he doesn’t get the ball.

Let’s give him the chance to grow and improve. His potential is undeniable, and with the right support, he could prove his worth for Manchester United.

How is a #9 supposed to score without any crosses into the box?

Just another average player who was overpaid

Man United could sell Rasmus Hojlund amid European transfer interest
As the 21-year-old seems to be struggling at Old Trafford, reports have emerged linking him with a move away from the club at the end of the transfer window.
According to ESPN, Man United are prepared to offload Hojlund, if a suitable offer was to come in for him this month.
It states that both AC Milan and Juventus are keeping tabs on his situation at United, and unnamed clubs in the German Bundesliga are also keen.
