Iraola has guided his team to 12th and 9th place finishes, and they are currently sitting 6th after six games so far this campaign.
The 43-year-old has never managed a big club, which will count against him. Amorim had won league titles and managed in the Champions League prior to his arrival at Old Trafford; Iraola has neither of those accomplishments on his CV.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano has boldly claimed that the former Barcelona boss would be prepared to take over at United “immediately” if he is offered the job.
Xavi won one league title during his three years at the Camp Nou, along with the Spanish Super Cup. Prior to that, he had managed in Qatar.
Many will question whether he possesses the experience to address the problems that the Red Devils currently face.
