‘Magic Dave Is Back’ ‘Best Goalkeeper In The World’ – United Fans Hail Keeper’s Outstanding Display

Manchester United keeper David de Gea produced an excellent save from Watford’s Christian Kabasele to ensure that the Red Devils secured the three points at Vicarage Road on Saturday

The Spaniard was back to his very best to keep out the Hornet defender’s header in the dying moments of the 2-1 win, helping his side to back-to-back victories.

Fans on Twitter were absolutely delighted with de Gea’s display:

Others are hoping that the Spanish international signs a new contract and remains at Old Trafford:

De Gea’s current deal expires at the end of the season, but the club will almost certainly take up their option to keep him for an additional year. United supporters are however keen for the 27-year-old to commit his long-term future to the club.

The shot-stopper was very close to leaving for Real Madrid back in 2015 but with Los Blancos having signed Thibaut Courtois this summer, a move to the Bernabeu is not likely.

The reason for the delay in signing a new contract is down to De Gea reportedly wanting his deal to match the club’s top wage earner, Alexis Sanchez.
