Lingard To Start, Greenwood On The Bench: United’s Predicted Line Up To Face Everton

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping to build on some excellent recent form with a win against Everton this weekend.

The Norwegian won’t look to stray too much from the starting line up that performed so well in the Manchester derby so expect very few changes from last Saturday.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw are likely to come back into the side after being rested versus AZ Alkmaar midweek, while Scott McTominay and Fred are almost certain to be recalled in midfield following their superb recent displays.

The Red Devils are sweating over Jesse Lingard’s fitness. Solskjaer has confirmed that the 26-year-old hasn’t been training and he will undergo a late fitness test. He should hopefully, though, be ready to play on Sunday.

Despite Mason Greenwood continuing to impress in the Europa League, it would be harsh on Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Daniel James if they are not selected as the attacking trio once again after tearing City to shreds last time out.

Manchester United’s Predicted XI To Face Everton:

De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, McTominay, Lingard, Fred, James, Martial, Rashford
