Manchester United are again weighing up a potential move for Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso, according to reports in the German media.
The 26-year-old has been looked at by the Red Devils in previous transfer windows but, with Bayern considering selling the Frenchman before his contract expires in 2022, the Red Devils are said to be seriously weighing up a potential offer.
Arsenal are also believed to be interested in Tolisso, who continues to play regularly for Bayern. However, the midfielder does have a poor injury record and fans on Twitter are split over whether the Red Devils should make a bid:
Anyone that understands the beautiful game knows Tolisso is a baller… forget the injuries.. Tolisso is not Kante but more like Carrick with abit of flair/Skill… a ball playing DM is hard to find this days.

Deep-lying playmakers are a rare commodity these days and it will be interesting to see whether United do prioritise a move for the France international. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has generally favoured ball-winners in the middle of the park, but he may be tempted to change his approach if he can bring in a Carrick-like figure who can help the team dictate play and control more games with possession.
