Latest Manchester United Report: Updates On Lindelof And Pogba’s Return Date

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has ruled defender Victor Lindelof out of the game against Partizan Belgrade tomorrow due to a back injury.

The Swedish international is also a major doubt for the match versus Brighton on Sunday. The centre-back originally sustained the knock in the Carabao Cup win over Chelsea and played through the pain barrier at Bournemouth.

In some better news, Solskjaer did say that Paul Pogba (ankle) could have an outside chance of facing Sheffield United on 24th November, earlier than his expected return date. However, the match against Aston Villa on 1st December is still the main target.

With regards to the other six players sidelined, there aren’t any new developments. Luke Shaw (hamstring), Axel Tuanzebe (hip), Nemanja Matic (knock), Diogo Dalot (groin), Eric Bailly (knee) and Angel Gomes (knock) are all out of contention.

Solskjaer is optimistic that some will return after the international break, but none are expected to line up against Partizan or Brighton.
