Latest Manchester United Injury Report: Updates On Varane, Maguire, Diallo And Rashford

Manchester United defender Raphael Varane has picked up an adductor strain whilst playing for France on international duty.

The 28-year-old sustained the injury just before half-time during the 2-1 win over Spain in the UEFA Nations League final last night. He is now a major doubt for this weekend’s game against Leicester.

Captain Harry Maguire is also unlikely to be available for the trip to the King Power Stadium. The centre-back has not played since the 1-0 home defeat to Aston Villa last month because of a calf injury.

There is better news on Amad Diallo, though, with the Ivorian expected to return to full fitness soon after the international break following a thigh problem.

Marcus Rashford could also be available for selection. The 23-year-old has not played this season following shoulder surgery, but manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer claims that if the forward can get through full-contact training sessions this week, without any issues, he should be ready to play.
