Latest Manchester United Injury Report: Updates On The Fitness Of Sabitzer, Shaw, Rashford And 7 Other Players

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag says he is hopeful that Marcel Sabitzer has not picked up a “big injury”.

The Austrian international pulled out of the starting lineup before the 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday after having an issue in the warm up and his fitness will be assessed ahead of Thursday’s game against Sevilla.

Luke Shaw (thigh), Tyrell Malacia (knee) and Scott McTominay (knock) are also facing a race to be fit for the second leg in Spain, with the trio having missed the game at the City Ground this weekend.

Marcus Rashford (groin) is not expected to be back in action until May, with Raphael Varane, Alejandro Garnacho and Tom Heaton (all ankle) also set for weeks on the sidelines.

Lisando Martinez has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to a broken metatarsal, while Donny van de Beek (knee) will also play no further part this campaign.
