Latest Manchester United Injury Report: Updates On McTominay And Pogba

Manchester United could have Scott McTominay back in contention for Wednesday’s game against Tottenham. The 22-year-old has been out for two weeks after sustaining an ankle injury in the 3-1 win over Brighton.

However, the Scottish international appears to be winning the race to be fit for the match versus Spurs at Old Trafford, despite manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remaining cautious about his inclusion following the 2-2 draw against Aston Villa yesterday.

Paul Pogba is, though, unlikely to be fit to play on Wednesday with the Frenchman continuing his recovery from his own ankle injury. The 26-year-old has not played since the end of September.

Nemanja Matic is back in training but isn’t yet match fit, while Diogo Dalot (groin) and Marcos Rojo (muscular) remain unavailable.

Eric Bailly and Timothy Fosu-Mensah are stepping up their rehabilitation from serious knee injuries but they are still a fair distance away from making their return to first-team action.
