Latest Manchester United Injury Report: Updates On Cavani, Telles, Diallo And Rashford

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Edinson Cavani is expected to be back in training this week.

It was also suggested that the Uruguayan international could be in the matchday squad for the Carabao Cup tie against West Ham tomorrow but that may come too soon for the striker. A return against Aston Villa on Saturday is more likely.

Alex Telles is closing in on a return to fitness after a lengthy period out with an ankle injury. Earlier this month, Solskjaer said the Brazilian would be out for a few weeks which may indicate he’ll be back in the squad for the match versus Everton in 10 days’ time.

Amad Diallo is not expected to make his comeback from a thigh problem until after the next international break in October, while Marcus Rashford is likely to be out for the same length of time as he continues his recovery from shoulder surgery in the summer.
