Latest Manchester United Injury News: Updates On Shaw, Wan Bissaka And Pogba

Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw picked up a hamstring problem in training last week and was not included in the squads for the wins over Brentford and West Ham.

The defender has not featured since the 1-0 win over Aston Villa in the FA Cup fourth-round tie earlier this month, and there has been no indication as to whether he’ll return for the Middlesbrough clash on Friday week.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has also not been selected in a matchday squad since the Villa game, with manager Ralf Rangnick confirming he has been struck down by an illness.

The 24-year-old is, however, likely to be back in training soon with the expectation being that he will be available again after the short winter break.

Paul Pogba is closing in on a return from a long-term thigh injury. The Frenchman has not played since sustaining the problem whilst away on international duty back in November. He could, however, be on the bench when the Red Devils take on Boro.
