Latest Manchester United Injury News: Updates On Rashford, Greenwood And Bailly

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has yet to return to training due to a foot injury, according to England manager Gareth Southgate.

The 23-year-old missed the 3-1 defeat to Leicester in the FA Cup at the weekend and he is now a major doubt for the Three Lions’ World Cup qualifier against San Marino this evening.

Mason Greenwood has pulled out of the England U21 squad with an unspecified fitness issue. Aidy Boothroyd’s side play their three group stage games of the European U21 Championships this week but he will be without the United forward, who has been replaced by Norwich’s Todd Cantwell.

Reports suggest that the 19-year-old is not expected to be out for too long but it is not known whether he’ll be fit to face Brighton in the Red Devils’ next game after the international break.

Eric Bailly had been sidelined with a knock but he was pictured in training for Ivory Coast yesterday so he should be fit and available for selection once more. Phil Jones (knee) and Juan Mata remain on the treatment table.
