Latest Manchester United Injury News: Updates On Pogba, Tuanzebe And Rashford

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has provided an update on his return from an ankle injury. The Frenchman took to Instagram to post a video of his rehabilitation and he hinted he will be back in action “soon.”

The 26-year-old has not played for the Red Devils since the 4-1 win over Newcastle in December, and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has recently said that the playmaker is “not anywhere near” to taking part in full training but this latest news may suggest he is closer than some had assumed.

Axel Tuanzebe is said to be closing in on a return from a hamstring injury. The defender has not featured since December but it is hoped he will be back in the squad for Thursday’s game against Club Brugge.

Marcus Rashford could miss the rest of the season with a back injury. The original prognosis was that he could return sometime in April but Solskjaer was a little more circumspect in his response to a question about the forward’s fitness last week:

“I would hope he’s playing this season but it’ll just be touch and go towards the end.”

Lee Grant (surgery) and Timothy Fosu-Mensah (thigh) are the only other players currently on the sidelines.
