Latest Manchester United Injury News: Updates On Martial, Pogba And Rashford

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hoping to have Anthony Martial back in contention to face Tottenham on Sunday.

The Frenchman injured his legs when sliding into the post during the 2-0 win against Manchester City last weekend, and wasn’t in the squad that travelled out to Austria for the Europa League game versus LASK Linz.

Paul Pogba is very close to being back in first-team contention. The Frenchman has not featured since Boxing Day due to a troublesome ankle injury but there had been claims that he had a chance of playing against Spurs.

However, the midfielder has yet to take part in a full session, and Solskjaer expects him to build up his involvement in training over the next week.

Marcus Rashford remains unavailable due to a back injury, but there is now some hope he could be back playing before the end of the season.

In terms of other injuries, Timothy Fosu-Mensah is still building up his match fitness after a thigh injury, while goalkeeper Lee Grant is recovering from surgery.
