Latest Manchester United Injury News: Updates On James, Tuanzebe And Pogba

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says Daniel James should be fit for Thursday’s game against Derby County in the FA Cup.

The Wales international sat out the 1-1 draw against Everton at the weekend due to a knock, but the 22-year-old is expected to be back in the squad for the game at Pride Park.

Axel Tuanzebe has now recovered from a hamstring injury. The defender has not played since the Carabao Cup tie versus Colchester in December but he played the full 90 minutes as the Under 23s won 3-2 against Stoke last night.

Another player who featured in that game was Timothy Fosu-Mensah. The Dutchman has recovered from a thigh problem that he picked up a couple of months ago.

Paul Pogba (ankle) is closing in on a return to fitness, although it looks almost certain that the derby against Manchester City on Sunday will come too soon. The match the following weekend versus Tottenham could be a more likely return date.

Marcus Rashford (back) and Lee Grant (surgery) remain out of contention for the long term.
