Latest Manchester United Injury News: New Updates On Bailly, Pogba And McTominay

Manchester United currently have nine players out of action, following Marcos Rojo’s withdrawal from international duty with Argentina. It has not been revealed what problem the 29-year-old is suffering from, but he will stay at Carrington to be assessed.

There is some better news on Paul Pogba. The Frenchman took to social media on Monday to show his cast on his ankle being removed. He will now begin training with a view to being back to full fitness at the start of December.

Eric Bailly is also making progress in his recovery from a serious knee injury that he picked up in a pre-season friendly against Tottenham back in July. He is set to return to light training after the international break.

Initial reports suggest that Scott McTominay could be out for four weeks with an ankle injury he sustained in the closing stages against Brighton. No official word has been given on the Scottish international’s return date but he has already withdrawn from international duty with Scotland.

Axel Tuanzebe (hip), Nemanja Matic (knock), Luke Shaw (hamstring) and Diogo Dalot (groin) are all scheduled to return following the international fixtures but it is not known whether any will be fit to start against Sheffield United on Sunday week.

Angel Gomes als remains on the treatment table but no return date has been revealed after picking up an injury for the Under 23s.
