Manchester United are “expected” to go after Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman if they can’t find an agreement with Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho, according to Sport1‘s chief reporter Floran Plettenberg.
It is believed Coman could be available for around €50m (£43m), and after trying to sign the Frenchman last summer, Plettenberg claims the Red Devils could try again:
(2/2) If Coman leaves the club this summer, another winger will definitely be signed. #MUFC already wanted to sign KC last summer & offered him €8m net/year. Salihamidzic said no. His price: more than €50m; Sancho (as reported via @berger_pj) around €95m. Poker is on. @SPORT1

Coman is reportedly refusing to sign a contract extension with Bayern, and with his current deal expiring in two years’ time, it is increasingly likely that he will be sold.
United are not the only team that have been linked with the 24-year-old recently, though, with other reports in Germany suggesting that Chelsea could be in the running as well.
Of course, Coman is still only United’s backup plan. Talks are still progressing for Sancho with it now being claimed that there is only an £11m difference between United’s offer and Dortmund’s asking price.
