Journalist Reveals United Could Take Advantage Of Chelsea Crisis By Swooping In For In Demand Brazilian Ace

Manchester United are “following” Leeds winger Raphinha, according to Sport Italia journalist Gianluigi Longari.

The reporter published a story last month that claimed Chelsea were leading Barcelona and Arsenal in the battle to sign the Brazilian international.

However, with the Blues in a middle of a takeover, it could lead to other teams taking advantage of the situation, with the Red Devils now seemingly pursuing Raphinha too:

Strengthening the right-hand side will be one of the club’s top priorities this summer, with the likes of Marcus Rashford having had to play out of position due to the lack of options in that area of the pitch.

Raphinha would, therefore, be a perfect solution, but there are a number of other teams that are after the 25-year-old. West Ham tried to sign the winger in the January transfer window while his agent has confirmed interest from Liverpool, who could target him to replace Mohamed Salah. We shall see if United can beat the competition for Raphinha in the summer.
