Journalist Provides Big Update On Cristiano Ronaldo’s Future After New Club Is Linked With United Star

Real Madrid will not consider re-signing Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo, according to Marca reporter Jose Felix Diaz.

There had been rumours that the Portuguese international could make a surprise return to the Bernabeu but Diaz says that Real won’t be looking to recruit the 37-year-old or any other striker in January:

With Ronaldo having burned his bridges at Old Trafford after his controversial interview with journalist Piers Morgan, he is very much on the lookout for a new club.

However, there are currently very few teams who are seriously considering him as a potential signing. Chelsea have, though, reemerged as a potential option in recent days, with reports suggesting that the Blues have made a U-turn in their stance on recruiting the player.

United would probably be hoping that Ronaldo leaves England if his contract is terminated but they won’t have any control over his future if he becomes a free agent.
