Manchester United could hold talks about signing Leicester City centre-back Caglar Soyuncu “soon”, according to journalist Ekrem Konur.
The reporter says that the Red Devils have placed the Turkish international, who is valued at £40.5m on Transfermarkt, on their list of targets, with Chelsea also monitoring the player’s situation:
?Continuing their search for a stopper, Manchester United have put Caglar Soguncu on the transfer list.
?Talks with Leicester City are scheduled to take place soon.

Konur is not particularly reliable but the Turkish journalist may have some inside knowledge about his fellow countryman so we’ll keep you posted if a more trusted source also backs the claim.
United are said to be keen on signing a centre-half. Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane is reportedly the number one target but the Frenchman’s £80m asking price is proving problematic.
There are alternatives, including Sevilla’s Jules Kounde and Villarreal’s Pau Torres, and it could be the case that Soyuncu is being looked at as a possible option if other deals don’t work out. The 25-year-old was a regular starter for the Foxes last season, making 32 appearances in all competitions.
