Journalist Claims Rangnick Has ‘Recently Spoken’ To The Father Of 64M United Transfer Target

Manchester United interim head coach Ralf Rangnick has “recently spoken” to Alf-Inge Haaland about his son moving to Old Trafford next year, according to the Manchester Evening News journalist Samuel Luckhurst.

The reporter claims that Rangnick is “pushing” to land Erling Haaland, and he has already used his links to try and make the deal happen:

While Haaland’s father will have a big say in where the player ends up, there are also a number of other complications that have to be taken into account.

United are expected to face strong competition from rivals Manchester City, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, while a move to Paris Saint-Germain can’t be ruled out either.

The Red Devils have also had issues dealing with Haaland’s agent, Mino Raiola, in the past and Rangick will need to overcome a number of obstacles if he is going to secure the Norwegian international’s signature next summer.
