Manchester United have yet to agree a new contract with Juan Mata sparking interest from both Premier League and foreign clubs, according to the BBC.
The Spaniard is said to be keen to stay but so far negotiations have not reached a successful conclusion.
Mata has been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus in recent days with his current deal expiring in the summer.
Fans on Twitter would like to see the 30-year-old stay, although some think that it is time for the midfielder to leave Old Trafford:
My favourite @ManUtd player, be very sad to see him go but fair play to him he deserves a regular starting place in a team.

Like Fellaini, thanks for the memories and some huge moments but it’s the right time to say goodbye. Mata can leave with his head held high ??

Since arriving from Chelsea for £37.1m in January 2014, Mata has gone on to make 208 appearances for United, scoring 44 goals and providing 35 assists.
The former Spanish international has provided some special moments during his five years at the club, including a memorable goal against Liverpool.
Whether Mata’s time at the club is coming to an end or not, he has certainly always represented the club with distinction.
