Manchester United’s fixture against Chelsea will now take place on April 28th after the Blues progressed to the FA Cup final.
The game at Old Trafford was expected to be played on May 15th but, with the cup final scheduled for the 14th, a new date for the league game had to be found.
United are reportedly unhappy that they will now have to play Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea in the space of nine days, and supporters on Twitter are equally upset about the decision:
It’s a disgrace we have to play Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea in 9 days. It’s last season all over again

Same thing happened last year when they gave us like 4 games in 8 days they do it to United all the time just to suit other teams..

Not that we are in any sort of form to win any of those games but…when do you ever see 4 of the top 6 playing each other in the space of 9 days?

With injuries mounting up, it does appear that manager Ralf Rangnick will have a massive job on his hands keeping his team in contention for a top-four finish.
The Premier League have really made things as hard as possible for the Red Devils. There is another date that could have been used (May 4th) as neither United nor Chelsea are playing a match midweek, but, for some reason, the decision was made to go with April 28th instead.
