Manchester United face a trip to Ipswich this weekend for what will be new manager Ruben Amorim’s first game in charge.
Ruben Amorim took over at the start of the international break and will now get to see his players in action against newly-promoted Ipswich.
The Red Devils come off a 3-0 win against Leicester City before the international break which was Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s last game in interim charge of the club.
Amorim will be hoping that several of his players will be fit enough for selection on Sunday as Lisandro Martinez, Harry Maguire, Kobbie Mainoo, Victor Lindelof and Tyrell Malacia are all doubtful for the game as they recover from injury.
Meanwhile, Leny Yoro and Luke Shaw will both be unavailable as they recover from longer-term issues. Ipswich on the other hand have four players in doubt for the game with two ruled out.
Ruben Amorim will be keen to implement his new system at United with many questioning what his first line-up will look like at Portman Road on Sunday. He has played a three-at-the-back formation in his previous jobs and only time will tell to see if he does the same at United.

Manchester United backed to win in Amorim’s first game
With all the new changes happening at Old Trafford it makes Sunday’s game a tough one to predict, but the bookmakers think that Amorim will earn victory in his first game.
According to Oddschecker, United are 4/6 favourites to win which gives them a 60% chance of three points on Sunday. Whereas Ipswich are backed at 9/2 (18.2%) and a draw is backed at 10/3 (23.1%).
We predict a 2-1 win for Manchester United as Ruben Amorim will want a good reaction from his players in his first game.
