Manchester United are “in the race” to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Reports emerged yesterday that Chelsea had made an €80m (£70m) bid for the Serbian international and, although Romano denies this is the case, he claims both the Red Devils and Bayern Munich are actively pursuing the forward:
Understand Chelsea haven’t sent €80m bid for Dusan Vlahović, as of now. He’s one of many strikers appreciated at the club but no bid/talks. 🚨🔵 #CFC
Bayern and Man United remain in the race for Vlahović — but still waiting for Juventus decision.

Vlahovic has had a troubled first full season at Juve, having scored just 10 goals for the Bianconeri in Serie A, and only four more in other competitions.
The Italian club spent €80m on the 23-year-old when they beat Arsenal to his signature in January last year but, as Romano says, they are now weighing up whether to sell him after just eighteen months.
Vlahovic is just one of a number of strikers that United are looking at
The Red Devils have been linked with at least six other forwards in recent weeks, which may suggest they have not settled on a number-one target yet.
Tottenham’s Harry Kane, Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, Roma’s Tammy Abraham, Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani, Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund and Ajax’s Brian Brobbey are also being scouted.
