Manchester United are confident that they haven’t overpaid for Atalanta winger Amad Diallo Traore, despite the club shelling out €41m (£37m) after add-ons for the 18-year-old, according to the Guardian‘s Fabrizio Romano.
The teenager has only played three first-team games but manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already held conversations with the player to say they are convinced he has a big future at Old Trafford. Supporters on Twitter are also excited about seeing the Ivorian in action:

Traore will only move to United during the January transfer window so fans will have to wait a while before they can see whether the winger lives up to the hype. His former captain at Atalanta, Papu Gomez, has said that the player “plays like Messi” which is certainly a massive compliment.
Whether he’ll be integrated into the first team straight away, it remains to be seen. After paying a substantial amount for Traore, it will surely only be a matter of time before he makes his first-team debut.
