Ighalo Tips United Teammate To “Take The Premier League By Storm”

Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo says he is very excited by what he has seen of Bruno Fernandes during their short time together as teammates.

The pair moved to Old Trafford during the January transfer window, and Ighalo is backing his teammate to make a big impact in English football, after seeing how quickly he has settled into the team:

“You can see the understanding between him and Martial, you can see the understanding between me and him, so he’s a very good player. And he’s not even settled down yet!”

“He comes from a very different place to the Premier League. When that guy has settled down, he’s going to take the Premier League by storm.”

Fernandes may have cost an initial €55m, but it looks like he will more than pay back his transfer fee based on his first few games for United.

The Portuguese international looks like he has the X-Factor, having already struck up a good understanding with his teammates, whilst also having the technical ability to produce moments of magic.

Three goals and four assists in just nine appearances is certainly not a bad return and fans will be hoping to see a lot more when football returns at some point in the future.
