‘If We Lose Him To Spurs I’m So Done’ ‘Just Pay It’ Fans On Twitter Call On United To Meet Portuguese Midfield Maestro’s £70m Asking Price

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to sign Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes this summer, according to the Telegraph.

Tottenham have also been in talks with the Portuguese international’s agent, Miguel Pinho, but Sporting are waiting for a club to match their £70m asking price.

Fans on Twitter are calling on United to pay what Sporting are demanding for Fernandes:

It appears that the club are intent on negotiating one signing at a time this summer. United are closing in on a deal for Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who could cost upwards of £60m.

However, the Red Devils’ focus on the England Under 21 international could see them miss out on other potential targets.

Fernandes has been linked with a host of clubs this summer already, including Liverpool and Manchester City, but Spurs appear to be United’s main rival for the 24-year-old’s signature.

The midfielder scored 32 goals last season, as well as providing 18 assists in 53 appearances for Sporting.
