“I See Him In England But…” Rudd Gullit Makes Big Prediction About Where Erling Haaland Could End Up

Former Chelsea player and manager Ruud Gullit does not expect Erling Haaland to join Manchester United this summer.

The Norwegian international has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford over the last couple of years but Gullit claims that rivals Manchester City or Liverpool have a better chance of signing the striker:

“I see him in England but I think he’s not going to Manchester United. City would be good for him because of Pep Guardiola. But Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool would also be great.”

Most reports do suggest that Haaland actually favours a switch to Real Madrid, but any deal could be hampered by the fact that the La Liga club may not be able to afford the wages of the 21-year-old and Kylian Mbappe, who is also expected to move to the Bernabeu.

There is still a possibility that Haaland will remain at Borussia Dortmund, despite the fact that he has a €75m (£63m) release clause that can be triggered at the end of the season.

The Bundesliga side have reportedly offered the Norwegian a new contract, but they want an answer before the end of this month so they can line up a possible replacement if he does decide to leave Germany.
