‘I Haven’t Taken Sides Yet’ PSG Starlet Reveals He Is Open To Making United Switch

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Eric Edimbe has responded to speculation that Manchester United are interested in signing him.

The 19-year-old was first linked with a move to Old Trafford in the French media back in January, and when asked about those reports in a recent interview, Edimbe said he had yet to make a decision on his future:

“Manchester United? I haven’t had any real discussions with my parents about this. I saw that there was an interest but I think that talks [will be] more between the two clubs. I haven’t taken sides yet.”

Edimbe is currently halfway through a two-year loan spell at Ligue Two side Le Harve. The teenager has made 25 appearances so far this campaign, scoring three goals and contributing one assist.

His most notable characteristic is his versatility. He has played as a right-winger, central midfielder, left-winger and as a striker this season.

Edimbe’s performances have also been rewarded with a call up to France’s Under 20 side. He made a huge impression on his debut back in November, scoring a hat-trick in a 4-0 friendly win against Turkey. He made his second appearance against the Netherlands a few days later.
