Manchester United are close to finalising a deal for Leicester City centre-back Harry Maguire, according to Alfredo Pedulla.
The Italian journalist reports on his website that a deal worth roughly £80m has been agreed, £10m of which is said to be dependent on future performances.
Supporters on Twitter are highly sceptical about this latest news with many doubting the credibility of the report:
I don’t believe it!

This statement was made about 3 weeks ago by about 20 different “in the knows”. I’ll believe it when he’s in the shirt.

Most news sources suggest Maguire remains a priority signing for United this summer as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to shore up his defence ahead of the start of the Premier League season.
Time is running out to get the deal over the line, though, with just over a week to go before the transfer deadline.
Leicester have stuck to their valuation of the player and if the report from Italy is true, it would appear that United are willing to meet their demands in order to bring in a key target.
