“I Cannot Say Too Much…” United And Arsenal Target Drops Big Hint Amid Speculation About 45M Transfer

Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves has given the biggest indication yet that he is looking to move clubs this summer.

Manchester United and Arsenal are both said to be keeping tabs on the Portuguese international’s situation and, when asked about his future yesterday, Neves made it clear that he is seeking a new challenge:

“Everyone knows about what football is about, what our lives are about. Our careers are really short, we need to take the opportunities we have. Of course, all of us have dreams and we need to live those dreams in a short space of time. Let’s see what happens. I cannot say too much about it.”

Wolves are believed to be holding out for a fee higher than the £45m they received from Liverpool for Diogo Jota so, if United are keen on the 25-year-old, they shouldn’t have much of an issue agreeing a price.

A number of reliable journalists have, though, suggested that Barcelona are the firm favourites to secure the midfielder’s signature currently. Were that move to happen, though, things could still work out for United.

Frenkie de Jong is a player that manager Erik ten Hag would like to sign and, if Neves were to make the switch to the Camp Nou, it would probably mean that the Dutchman is free to leave.
